During the Asia/ Africa project, I learned that I can manage my time well if I write notes to myself and make a specific schedule. I also learned that I need to take a lot of notes before I start to make a video for a school project. That includes finishing all of the scripts and making sure the video is planned out before filming. The most challenging part for me was learning how to edit a video on my phone. I had never done it before and it was an interesting experience, even though it was challenging. Here is a link to My project video!

What Affects Settlement?
- The most interesting thing I learned about the influence on physical features, climate, and natural resources on settlement was how people don’t normally wish to settle in a tropical climate. This is because it is hot and wet. This is interesting to me because I thought living in a tropical climate would be relaxing, however it could be harsh. I learned that tropical climates can be harsh.
- The part of my sketchnote that I am most proud of is where I explained transportation arteries and transportation barriers. I am most proud of it because you can tell that just by looking at the picture transportation arteries are good and transportation barriers are bad. For transportation arteries I drew a boat on the ocean delivering goods. For transportation barriers I drew a car that is failing to get up a mountain. I like this part of my sketchnote because I think it explains the topic well.

What Globalization And Trade is All About
The most interesting thing I learned about globalization and trade was how it can wipe away culture. This is interesting to me because I did not realize how countries could easily change their ways of life. This could happen when companies decide to produce things a different way or produce things that would change how they live. Erasing a certain culture from the earth is a negative impact of globalization and trade.
The part of my sketchnote that I am most proud of is the part where it says goods are unevenly distributed. That is a fact that is important when learning about globalization and trade because most goods are unevenly distributed; and that is why countries trade. I am proud of this part because I like how the letters are unbeven to match the word. Also, I used apples as the goods and “distributed” them unevenly around the words. This explains how goods like apples are unevenly distributed around the world.

South Africa Standard Of Living
- The standard of living does not go for everyone in the area. This is because some people are more wealth than others and can afford more luxuries. Also, some people are less wealthy and are struggling to meet their basic needs.
- The most interesting thing I learned about standard of living was some countries have a really good standard of living while at the same time another country has an extremely low standard of living. This is interesting because there is not much we have done to make a big difference. We also are focused on improving upon our country while other countries are struggling.
- Countries with a high standard of living have a huge obligation to help countries with a low standard of living. If we do not help each other, we can not improve our world. Also, becoming friendly with people around the world is a good thing so we don't have any conflict.
